How to take care of Muga silk saree?

Dry cleaning is the most preferred method of caring for a Muga silk saree. However, if you must wash the saree at home, avoid using soap for the first three washes. A cold water rinse is sufficient. It is advisable to store the sari separately in a plastic bag or saree.
