If your silk saree is not very dirty, then, you can wash your silk saree at home. Take a bucket of cold water or Luke warm water. Add some mild detergent to the bucket, Always use a mild detergent as silk is a very delicate fabric and using a chemical detergent can damage the fabric. If you are not sure about your detergent, you can also use a mild baby shampoo as well. Then mix the water with your hand to mix the detergent with the water. Put the silk saree in the bucket and make sure that the whole part of silk saree is submerged in the water. Don’t touch the saree for 3 minutes so that it can soak in as much soapy water as possible. Later, Hang the silk saree on a clothesline or a drying rack, and Make sure it should not face the direct sunlight
