How to remove oil stain from silk saree?

First you need to place the silk saree on a flat surface and Cover the stain with a thick layer with baking soda, cornstarch or salt. Next Leave the powder on the stain for 2 to 3 hours. The powder will absorb the oil. Brush off the powder. If any strain remains you can repeat the same process. Apply this process for fresh oil strains, though it removes on older oil stains from silk saree as well.
