Oil stains are probably the most difficult stains to remove as they need to be treated immediately for the most effective results. If you catch the stain as it occurs, applying baby powder to the area will help soak up some of the oil that will lift most of the stain. Or follow these instructions – Put one or two drops of dish soap directly on remaining stains and rub it in gently with a clean cloth. Run hot water over the grease spot only to remove the soap. Allow it to air dry. Repeat if necessary.
